Pump Servicing & Maintenance

As part of a standard pump refurbishment the mechanical seal and bearings would be replaced to ensure a long working life.

We endeavour to understand the reasons behind the breakdown or failure of a pump. Where possible, we will use our knowledge and experience to help keep disruptions to a minimum. For example, a hospital with no running water or a holiday campsite without working toilet facilities can result in poor services and a loss of business and we treat such situations very seriously.

Did you know that a well-maintained pump can reduce your energy consumption by as much as 50 per cent? If there is one pump malfunctioning within a series of pumps working together this can greatly impact on productivity and, at worst, cause a full breakdown.

Preventative maintenance is extremely important in today’s industry. At Anglian Pumping Services we have a dedicated team of engineers capable of handling site installations and servicing of pumps and their associated controls.

All of our pump servicing and refurbishments are carried out to an incredibly high standard. Where possible, dirt, grime, rust and more can be removed by bead blasting or chemically cleaning each pump in an aim to return it to its original manufactured condition.

As soon as a pump refurbishment is complete the pump is performance tested within our workshop and compared against the manufacturers’ figures. All data from the test is logged and available in graphical form if required at the end of each service.
