DTron is DAB’s new line of electronically switched submersible pumps for water pressurization in residential environments.
DAB DTRON Pump Models
- DAB DTRON 2 – Standard model without detailed interface.
- DAB DTRON 3 – Same as DTRON 2 but with added water level gauge and the ability for smart control using a COM BOX screen or a 'DConnect Box 3' connecting to a smartphone app.
DAB DTron pumps are 7-inch submersible electronic multi-impeller pump designed for use in wells, cisterns or tanks. It can be used submerged, partially submerged or installed on the surface with a DOC68 (supplied separately). The DTron is suitable for use in residential building services to increase water pressure, reuse rainwater in gardens or even irrigate small vegetable gardens. It integrates the electronics for automatic switching on and off, a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber, a non-return valve and a handle for transport. The electronic operation also protects against the dry run. The integrated expansion vessel protects from water hammer, an additional expansion vessel is not required. It is possible to connect a float without compromising the watertight of the pump thanks to the NFC (Near Field Communication) pocket.
DTRON Formats and Applications:
- DTRON DRY VERSION – For surface installation installed out of the water using Doc68 adaptor.
- DTRON STANDARD VERSION – For in-tank installations.
- DTRON X VERSION – For well installations, a floating pickup means dust and debris will no longer be a problem.
WRAS, ACS, NSF Approved.
More about this product
7" submersible electronic multi-impeller pump designed for use in water wells, tanks or cisterns. The pump is suitable for use in residential building service for pressurization, rainwater reuse and gardening and irrigation. It integrates the electronics for automatic switching on and off, a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber, a non-return valve and a handle for transport. Electronic operation also protects against the dry run. Built with a innovative modular design: the hydraulic part, the motor, the electrical part and the filter can be disassembled separately, simplifying the maintenance activity. The suction height is adjustable from the bottom up to 8 cm using the special accessory supplied as standard. A float can be connected without compromising the water tightness of the pump thanks to the NFC pocket. The integrated expansion vessel protect from water hammer, an additional expansion vessel is not required. The cable has a quick coupling for easier installation inside the tank/cistern. The pump is also available in X version with 1" intake and kit X which includes 1 meter suction hose and float to prevent the suction of impurities from the bottom. The whole pump is classified as IP 68. With the accessory DOC68 (supplied separately) becomes a surface pump to be used under the water level.
