The DAB ACM mains booster pump is designed to react automatically when mains water pressure falls below the pump’s pre-set value, delivering increased water pressure to your building’s supply of up to 4.5 bar.

Capable of boosting incoming mains water to the entire house at a flow rate of up to 12 litres per minute, the ACM inline pump is an excellent solution for enhancing water performance. It is ideal for unvented hot water cylinders, combination boilers, electric showers, and mixer showers.

A full-bore bypass can be installed for uninterrupted water supply during pump maintenance. Additionally, the ACM pump complies with water authority regulations, ensuring the flow rate remains within the 12 litres per minute limit.

The ACM pump also features WiFi connectivity and can be remotely controlled via the DConnect app. With voice commands like “Hey Google, power shower,” the pump increases pressure, or “Hey Google, sleep mode” to switch it off at night, you can enjoy smart, convenient water pressure management.

The DAB ACM mains booster pump enhances flow rates to hot and cold water taps, showers, baths, and other services, delivering up to a maximum of 12 litres per minute.

Thanks to its digital variable-speed pump design, the system maintains stable pressure with minimal flow reduction, even when multiple taps are in use simultaneously.

With silent operation and the ability to boost pressure and flow from small bore pipes, the ACM pump ensures efficient and reliable water performance throughout your home.

Low Water Pressure

Water pressure can vary throughout the day, typically dropping during the morning and evening when demand is highest as more people use water at home.

Pressure is measured in bars, with 1 bar of pressure capable of pushing water to a height of 10 metres within your home. The legal minimum water pressure required at your boundary stop tap is 7 metres head (0.7 bar). However, the DAB ACM mains booster pump can significantly increase this, boosting pressure up to 4.5 bar!

If you’re not on a shared supply, your neighbours should experience similar water pressure to yours, provided your homes are of similar height and located at the same distance from the water main. However, water flow can vary individually between properties.

It’s important to distinguish between low water pressure and low water flow. You may have high pressure but still experience a low flow rate, often due to limitations in your private supply pipe. In such cases, an accumulator may be a more effective solution than a booster pump.

Delivery Information

Standard delivery:

Standard delivery is free for all orders except for some low cost/low margin items where standard delivery is £6.75. Some difficult to transport goods also have a varying carriage charge applied.

Deliveries will typically be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Next day delivery:

Next working day delivery is available for a £15.00 + vat delivery charge.

Orders must be placed before 12 noon to qualify for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday but before noon on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Orders placed after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
